Facility Description
Quantum Design’s SQUID-MPMS3 is a high sensitive magnetization measurement system. It can be used for variable temperature range 1.8 K to 400 K and magnetic field value of ± 7 Tesla. Ac-susceptibility can be measured upto 1 kHz frequency.
Instructions for Registration, Sample Preparation, User Instructions and Precautionary Measures
Instructions for Registration
User will apply online.
An appointment will be given as per queue and will be informed by email.
New users are requested to contact facility manager of lab before registration.
Instruction for Sample Preparation
Solid sample is required for all measurements.
For ac- and ac- magnetization, solid and powder sample will be required. The sample weight must be 10 to 50 mg.
Note: Liquid sample is not allowed.
