Facility Description
The Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) facility is designed to capture and analyse fluid flow fields with high spatial and temporal resolution. It employs laser illumination and high-speed imaging to track seeding particles suspended in the flow. Modular components such as interchangeable optics, synchronizers, and scalable test sections allow for precise adaptation to a wide range of experimental setups.
Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) is a whole-flow-field technique providing instantaneous velocity vector measurements in a cross-section of a flow.
